The designer’s new collection “The 5 elements: Journey to the beauty of femininity” the result of a very personal, intimist task, of an inner journey to understand the essence of femininity, woman in her purest state.
Life is energy in constant cyclic movement. Nature teaches us to understand the polarities of our world and the cyclic rhythm of all its processes.
We can see these energies in the change of seasons, in the cycle of the moon, in our daily lives and in an infinity of processes.
WATER, EARTH, METAL, FIRE and WOOD are the energies of transformation of every natural cycle, the five elements.
The theory of the five elements or transformations dates back three thousand years. It is one of the foundations of traditional Chinese medicine and of ancient oriental philosophy in general. This theory can be applied to any aspect of life or any phenomenon that surrounds us.
Sages of the ancient world pointed out that every natural cycle consists of five phases: a phase in which energy takes an upward, expansive direction: WOOD-SPRING. A phase of maximum expansive energy: FIRE-SUMMER. A phase in which this energy begins to descend and gather in on itself: EARTH-AUGUST. A phase in which energy reaches its maximum contraction: METAL-AUTUMN/WINTER. And a final phase during which energy turns fluid and horizontal: WATER-WINTER.
When we wake up we have energy, but in mid-morning we have still more, then our energy begins to descend and with the arrival of the night we go to bed to sleep.
WOOD
The element wood boosts creativity and flexibility.
Spirals and natural shapes that climb up towards the sky and caress the woman’s face. A soft, young, pure, fresh caress. Harmony in its purest state.

The element earth helps us “to keep our feet on the ground, to be more realistic.”
Our mother earth is magical, she gives light to our faces and fills us with life. Earth colours: browns, ochres, greens, basalt tones, diamonds from the stones.
A fusion of materials and colours that is powerful, calm and warm. The energy of life begins to descend and gather in on itself...
